- Kitchen Clutter - volume 01 is my first project to the public, and I'm thrilled with the quality I've achieved. Each model is meticulously detailed, adding personality to every object, from the bowl to the teapot.
My inspiration was undoubtedly my own kitchen. Take the bowls, for instance; they were almost a direct reflection of the ones I had at home, some of which had started losing their paint. I thought, 'Why not?' That's how it all began. As I delved deeper into my kitchen, I found inspiration to infuse this project with a unique personality.
Indeed, I've designed these 3D models to support subdivision. For example, this model demonstrates the effects of subdivision level 1 (Blender) , where you can see that no edges are lost.
Each model is meticulously crafted with various details, including roughness, metallic, and normal maps, to achieve the highest fidelity to real-world items. These details are complemented by stylistic choices that make the objects truly stand out.
The entire project is created in Blender and includes both the Blender files and the scene used for the first image in this post. Additionally, you'll find FBX files in every folder, allowing compatibility with other 3D software such as Maya. It's important to note that these objects can be considered high-poly and resource-intensive if used solely for decorative purposes in a game, so consider implementing LODs (Level of Detail) and utilizing engine image compression. However, if you're working on a culinary game or a kitchen scene, these assets are a perfect fit.
